Sound effects for Witchpunk pre-gameplay cinematic created and mixed using reaper, with foley and modified Soundly assets. I used some of these assets and wrote complimentary music to create the game trailer, as some sequences were recycled.

After a trial period, we decided to switch from a player state based music system to a system that randomly chooses one of the snippets above. This allows for the music to maintain momentum while also having little to no redundancy due to the length of gameplay. After the gameplay sequence is completed, the boss battle music from above plays. All other game states such as end game, main menu, etc. had music/sfx created to match the tone of the game and the existing music style.
